Our Youth community is reading through the story of Jonah and exploring what the prophetic work has to say about God’s people and God Himself. In this startling story, we see some of God’s peoples’ worst tendencies that seem to arise in every generation. It exposes these tendencies and invites us to become more like the Ninevites and sailors rather than the assumed “hero”, Jonah. And then we’re left with provocative questions like “how is it that the person who knew God the most in this story was actually the one most opposed to God?” We’re looking forward to the discussions and questions that arise from this series!
Middle School and High School meet Sunday mornings @ 10:45am starting in the main auditorium for worship, then are dismissed upstairs to the youth room.
